Privacy Policy

This website is a simple one-page site for Gary's Taxi Service, run by Gary Kelly, a licensed SPSV driver based in Ireland. It exists so people can learn about the service and get in touch to book a journey. This page explains what little personal information is involved and how it is handled.

What this site collects

The website itself does not run any contact forms, sign-ups, or analytics. It does not set cookies. No personal data is collected or stored by the site.

When you contact Gary

If you contact Gary by phone, WhatsApp, or email, you are sharing your contact details and any information you choose to include (for example, your pickup address, date and time). Gary uses this information only to:

• Quote you a fare and confirm availability.
• Arrange and carry out the booking you've asked for.
• Keep a basic record of the booking for accounting and tax purposes, as required under Irish law.

Your details are not sold, shared, or used for marketing. They are not passed to any third party except where legally required (for example, to Revenue or An Garda Síochána).

Third-party services

The website loads fonts from Google Fonts and styling scripts from Tailwind CDN. When your browser loads these, those providers may receive your IP address and basic technical information. They do not receive any personal details from this site.

Phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and emails are handled by your own device and the service you choose to use. Their own privacy policies apply to those communications.

How long information is kept

Booking records are kept only as long as needed to provide the service and meet Irish tax record-keeping requirements (typically six years). After that they are deleted.

Your rights under GDPR

Under EU data protection law you can ask Gary at any time to:

• Tell you what information he holds about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your details (except where he must keep them for tax records).
